What our Jordan company report includes
Our Jordan reports draw on sources including the Companies Control Department (CCD), the Income and Sales Tax Department, the courts registry and sectoral regulators; fees may apply for certain records. The information returned from any one source reflects what the company has filed and what is publicly accessible when the search is run. We can translate from Arabic into clear English and confirm operating status through local researchers.

Why verify a Jordanian company?
Jordan's role as a regional services and logistics base means many companies registered there have substantial operating exposure outside Jordan itself, into Iraq, Syria, the Gulf, or the West Bank. For an overseas counterparty, that cross-border dimension is often the most important thing to understand: a Jordanian company may be commercially viable in Amman but have its main risk concentration in a much harder market. A good report flags those linkages where they exist.
Standard verification in Jordan is reasonably accessible. The Companies Control Department register is reliable for confirming incorporation, legal form, share capital and principal officers. The Income and Sales Tax Department issues tax compliance certificates that are a useful proxy for active commercial standing. Court records, through the Execution Department, show outstanding judgement debts and are checked by our agents.
Free zone and development zone status is a recurring point of practical importance. Jordan operates the ASEZA zone at Aqaba and various development zones, and companies operating in those zones benefit from preferential tax and customs treatment but face restrictions on selling into the Jordanian domestic market. Confirming the zone, the licence type and the permitted commercial scope is part of our standard Jordan report.
For supplier qualification, distribution agreements, trade credit or joint ventures with a Jordanian counterparty, an investigated report is the practical way to combine the public register with the on-the-ground confirmation that international buyers need.
