What our Jersey company report includes
Our Jersey reports draw on sources including the JFSC Companies Registry, the Jersey Office of the Comptroller of Revenue for tax matters, JFSC regulatory data for licensed entities, and the Royal Court of Jersey; fees may apply for certain records. Coverage of any individual source depends on what the subject company has filed and what is publicly accessible at the time of the search.
Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man jointly withdrew their commitment to public beneficial-ownership registers following the 2022 Court of Justice of the EU ruling; access is currently limited to 'obliged entities' and the authorities, with a 'legitimate interest' access regime still at consultation stage, so the register is not a public source.

Note on Jersey data: Jersey operates a central beneficial-ownership register held by JFSC. Public access is limited; the register is accessible to law enforcement and competent authorities, with EU-compliant equivalent access for journalists and civil society subject to legitimate-interest verification. Most Jersey companies operate through licensed Trust Company Business administrators.
Why verify a Jersey company?
Jersey's role as a substantial international financial centre concentrates overseas commercial interest on fund structures, trust arrangements, holding companies and high-value corporate vehicles. For overseas counterparties, the key practical questions are: what is the licensing basis of any TCB or fund administrator administering the structure, what is the JFSC regulatory standing, who are the beneficial owners visible through accessible channels, and what is the operating-substance picture. Our reports can investigate these as part of a Jersey company verification.
