Bermuda's beneficial-ownership register, formerly held by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, was transferred to the Registrar of Companies under Bermuda's beneficial-ownership legislation, which officially came into force on 3 November 2025, with strict enforcement and mandatory filing requirements taking effect on 1 June 2026; the legislation also tightened the disclosure thresholds, and the register remains closed to public inspection.
