Since the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK) came into force on 24 December 2024, Curaçao's online and e-gaming sector has been regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), which replaced the former Gaming Control Board and the master/sub-licence model; the CGA now licenses operators directly (the last master licence expired on 31 January 2025, with operators on provisional licences pending final decisions).
