What our Ireland company report includes
Our Ireland reports draw on sources including the CRO Companies Register, the Revenue Commissioners, the Central Bank of Ireland for regulated entities, Euronext Dublin for listed entities, and the Circuit and High Court; fees may apply for certain records. Depth of any given section reflects what the subject company has filed and what is publicly retrievable at the time of the search. English-language filings are presented directly.
Public access to EU beneficial-ownership registers ended with the Court of Justice of the EU ruling of 22 November 2022, which struck down general public access on privacy grounds; under the EU anti-money-laundering framework (AMLD6, Directive (EU) 2024/1640) the register is now open only to competent authorities, obliged entities, and persons able to demonstrate a legitimate interest.

Note on Irish data: Ireland is a major EU base for US-headquartered groups: many Irish entities are operating subsidiaries or holding companies of larger international groups. Group-structure analysis is therefore central to most Irish counterparty verification, alongside RBO beneficial-ownership confirmation.
Why verify an Irish company?
Ireland's corporate environment is shaped by its position as an EU and English-speaking jurisdiction that has attracted substantial inbound investment, particularly from US-headquartered technology, pharmaceutical and financial-services groups. The CRO confirms basic incorporation, directors and filed accounts; the RBO provides beneficial-ownership disclosure under EU AML rules. For overseas counterparties, the value of an investigated report concentrates on group-structure analysis, operating-substance assessment for entities that may be holding companies rather than substantive operators, and on confirmation of Revenue tax-clearance standing where it matters for the contracting relationship.
Standard verification, such as court judgements, examinership (the Irish corporate-rescue procedure), liquidation and Central Bank licensing for financial entities, is accessible through the courts and the CRO. Smaller Irish private companies file abridged accounts under the small-company regime, and investigated reports add value where the contracting relationship warrants more than the abridged disclosure provides.
