Cyprus company search, check & credit report

Verify any registered Cypriot company — investigated in-country and delivered in English.

Cyprus is an EU member state and one of the EU's most active corporate-services jurisdictions, hosting a substantial population of holding companies, IBCs and investment vehicles in addition to its domestic operating economy. Companies are registered with the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, and the Tax Department issues the TIC. Beneficial-ownership verification is the central practical question for Cypriot counterparties given the country's historic role as a corporate-services hub.

What our Cyprus company report includes

Our Cyprus reports draw on sources including the Department of Registrar of Companies, the Tax Department, CySEC for regulated financial entities, the Cyprus Bar Association directory for ASP-administered companies, and the District Courts; fees may apply for certain records. Administrative Service Providers administering Cyprus companies are supervised by three bodies: CySEC (independent ASP firms), the Cyprus Bar Association (law-firm ASPs) and ICPAC (accountancy-firm ASPs). Depth of any given section reflects what the subject company has filed and what is publicly retrievable at the time of the search. Greek and English filings are presented in clear English.

Note on Cypriot data: Cyprus is one of the largest EU jurisdictions for holding-company and investment-vehicle structures, with the implication that many Cypriot companies are passive entities rather than active operating businesses. Beneficial-ownership verification through the UBO register is therefore central to most Cyprus reports.

Why verify a Cypriot company?

Cyprus operates two largely distinct corporate populations: the domestic operating economy (financial services, professional services, tourism, shipping, real estate) and a substantial population of corporate-services holding companies and investment vehicles. The two require different verification approaches. For passive holding entities, beneficial-ownership tracing through the UBO register and the administering service provider is the central task; for active operating businesses, standard EU-style verification applies.
