Zimbabwe company search, check & credit report

Verify any registered Zimbabwean company — investigated in-country and delivered in English.

Zimbabwe is a Southern African economy with substantial activity in platinum, gold, lithium, tobacco and agriculture, but operating against the backdrop of repeated currency crises, hyperinflation episodes and partial dollarisation. Companies are registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), and the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) issues the BPN (Business Partner Number). US targeted sanctions (ZIDERA framework, subsequently revised in 2024) affect some politically connected counterparties.

What our Zimbabwe company report includes

Our Zimbabwe reports draw on sources including the CIPO companies register, ZIMRA tax records, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe for regulated entities, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and Victoria Falls Stock Exchange where applicable, and the High Court; fees may apply for certain records. Zimbabwe's company registry is operated by the Deeds, Companies and Intellectual Property (DCIP) department under the Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, also referred to as the Companies and Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Coverage of any individual source depends on what the subject company has filed and what is publicly accessible at the time of the search. English-language filings are presented directly.

Note on Zimbabwean data: Zimbabwe operates a multi-currency reality: a substantial share of commerce is conducted in US dollars alongside the local currency (most recently the ZWG, introduced in 2024 replacing the ZWL). Filed financial statements often present figures in both currencies, and our reports clarify which is meaningful for each line item.

Why verify a Zimbabwean company?

Zimbabwe's multi-currency reality and the legacy of repeated hyperinflation episodes make financial-statement analysis particularly demanding: US-dollar figures and local-currency figures may both be present, often with substantial differences in meaningful value. The US targeted-sanctions framework affecting Zimbabwe was substantially revised in March 2024, removing most entity designations while retaining individual targeted measures, relevant context for any commercial engagement.
