Peru company search, check & credit report

Verify any registered Peruvian company — investigated in-country and delivered in English.

Peru is one of the world's largest producers of copper, silver, zinc and gold, and a significant exporter of fishmeal, agricultural products and textiles. Companies are registered with SUNARP, the Superintendencia Nacional de los Registros Públicos, and the SUNAT tax authority issues the RUC identifier. The framework is modern, but the size of the informal economy, persistent political volatility and the prevalence of mining-sector counterparties all argue for a properly investigated report before committing.

What our Peru company report includes

Our Peru reports draw on sources including SUNARP registry filings, the SUNAT tax authority, the SMV (Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores) for listed entities, INGEMMET for mining concessions, and the judicial system; fees may apply for certain records. Depth of any given section reflects what the subject company has filed and what is publicly retrievable at the time of the search. Local agents can document trading premises and operating activity through direct enquiry.

Why verify a Peruvian company?

Peru combines a relatively modern corporate framework with elevated political and operational risk, particularly in extractive industries. The SUNARP register is reliable for basic incorporation verification, and the SUNAT tax authority maintains a publicly accessible contributor status that confirms a company is actively meeting its tax obligations. For overseas counterparties contracting in Lima with established formal-sector companies, verification is reasonably straightforward.

Mining-sector counterparties require additional checks. Peru has a substantial concentration of medium and small mining operators alongside the major listed groups, and the concessions register (INGEMMET) is a critical reference for any contract involving mineral rights, processing or services to mining operators. The relationship between the contracting company and the underlying concession holder is not always straightforward, and a proper investigation distinguishes principal mining operators from intermediaries and brokers.

Informal sector exposure is the other major consideration. A substantial proportion of Peruvian economic activity sits outside the formal SUNAT-registered system, and supplier relationships involving informal intermediaries create both commercial risk (delivery, quality, capacity) and compliance risk for the foreign buyer. Our reports can confirm that the contracting party is genuinely a formal-sector operator with active tax compliance and verifiable trading premises.

For supplier qualification, mining-services contracts, trade credit, joint ventures or any prepayment to a Peruvian counterparty, an investigated report is the standard practical tool to combine the formal-register data with on-the-ground verification.
